This One Shall Come to Pass

This One Shall Come to Pass

This is a powerful word of encouragement that the Holy Spirit always uses to remind me of the steadfast love and support of our God, whenever I am worried about certain situations that seem out of my control. In the journey of life, we often find ourselves facing challenges, uncertainties, and trials that seem insurmountable. However, as believers, we are anchored in the promises of God’s Word, knowing that He is faithful to fulfil His promises and guide us through every storm. The phrase “This One Shall Come to Pass” echoes throughout the pages of the Bible, reminding us that no matter the circumstance, God’s plans for our lives will ultimately prevail.

When the enemy is throwing all kinds of rubbish at you to distract you or delay your mission, remember you are not alone. God has your back and there is a support network God has put in place to see you through every trouble. Just like Psalm 30:5b (NIV), suggests “Weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.”
When you find yourself in moments of sorrow and despair, remember that joy will come. Just as the dawn follows the darkest part of the night, your tears will be replaced with God’s joy and restoration. Also in Romans 8:28 (NIV), Apostle Paul encouraged the persecuted Roman Christians with similar words, – “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”

You may have prayed, fasted and done all within your reach as a human being and a servant of God but the problem is still staring at you. In times of trial, remember the story of Joseph. Sold into slavery by his brothers, falsely accused, and imprisoned, he could have easily given in to bitterness and despair. But throughout his journey, Joseph held on to his faith, trusting that God’s plan was greater than his present circumstances. In the end, Joseph’s faithfulness led him to a position of power and influence, where he was able to save his family and an entire nation from famine. The Bible abounds with stories of individuals who faced overwhelming challenges but ultimately experienced God’s faithfulness. From the courage of David facing Goliath to the perseverance of Paul in his ministry, these examples serve as reminders that God’s promises are unchanging, and He is always faithful to see us through.

So, as you navigate life’s twists and turns, hold fast to the assurance that help is on the way. For His word declares in (Hebrews 13:5), ‘I will not leave you nor forsake you’. Your struggles, trials, and tribulations are temporary, but God’s promises endure forever. He is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, and His plans for your life will not be thwarted. Take heart, for the storms you face today will be replaced by the sun’s rays of victory tomorrow. Embrace the challenges as opportunities for growth, and lean on the strength that comes from your relationship with Christ. Rest in the knowledge that God’s promises are yes and amen, and He will bring you through every trial into a future filled with hope and purpose. Therefore, I leave you with this assurance that even in the midst of trials, God is working behind the scenes to turn every situation for your good. Your challenges are not in vain; they are stepping stones toward a greater purpose that God has ordained for you.
